Our teams are comprised of seasoned valuation and operating professionals – experts who speak the language of your industry or practice; who grasp its nature, subtleties and dynamics; and who understand your unique concerns.

The requirements to become a member of our team requires extensive business valuation, financial and other business experience.  Alteris does not just require world-class valuation expertise, each team member must also have substantial business and operating experience.  We are not just theorists and abstract valuators.  We are also experienced business managers and have executed business strategies in multiple industries.

Our team is very international.  We have conducted business and consulting projects on five continents.  Team members have worked for some of the best known financial institutions and corporations in the world.

Ph.D. Finance from the University of Texas at Austin
Ph.D. Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana
Ph.D. Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech)
Ph.D. Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology

Members have MBAs and/or M.S. degrees from these universities: Northwestern University, University of Chicago, Harvard University, Cornell University, Indiana University at Bloomington, University of Wisconsin at Madison, University of Illinois at Urbana, MIT.

Several team members are current or former professors and/or have lectured at the following institutions:  Harvard Business School, Northwestern University, University of Wisconsin at Madison, West Virginia University, University of Illinois at Urbana, University of Chicago and Notre Dame University.

Professional certifications include CPAs, CFAs, Accredited Senior Appraisers (ASA), Certified Valuation Analysts (CVA), Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), Accredited in Business Valuation (AICPA) and others.
